Saturday Sights - Picasso from Paris to Sydney

The greatest Picasso exhibition has come from Paris to Sydney this summer! The exhibition is made up of 150 Picasso pieces which include paintings, drawings and sculptures.
This is a very rare opportunity to see such work outside of France. So, if you don't have any plans today, why not visit the exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW, otherwise you have until the 25th March 2012. 
It is highly recommended that you pre-purchase tickets online to avoid queues.

Saturday Sights - Can you see Liu Bolin?



Can you see Liu Bolin? Liu Bolin is a Chinese born artist known for taking photographs of himself painted in order to blend in with the background. In June 2011, Bolin created his Hiding in New York series, in which he incorporated iconic New York sites into his work.

Saturday Sights - Dinosaur Designs at GOMA


To celebrate the fifth birthday of the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane, Dinosaur Designs have been commissioned to produce a body of work. The collection of works consist of large platters that will be displayed in the Foyer Cabinet. 
If you are located in Brisbane or heading that way before the 25 March 2012, go have a look at what Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy, from Dinosaur Designs, have created.

Saturday Sights - Oi You! Art by Banksy

No one really knows who Banksy is, except that he is the world's most famous street artist, having sold a piece of work for a record $1.87 million in 2008 at Sotheby's New York.

A private collection of 23 pieces by Banksy will be exhibited at the Oi You! exhibition in Sydney until December 11. So, don't know what to do today? Head to Cockatoo Island to see some fantastic street art. Other street artists include Kid Zoom, ROA and Anthony Lister.
